REALTOR® OF THE YEAR

The REALTOR® of the Year Award is bestowed upon the REALTOR® in the Local Association who exemplifies the model member through Real Estate Service to the Community, and the Local/State and National Associations. The purpose of the award is not to honor individuals as “super achievers”; rather it is intended to spotlight individuals who exemplify the values and ethics of REALTORS®. The ROY is nominated to the state level and sponsored by Harford County Association of REALTORS® and expected to attend the Maryland REALTORS® Annual Installation and Awards Event. ONE (1) COLOR PHOTO (any size or digital) must accompany the entry form to be used for promotional purposes. Once a REALTOR® of the Association has been named as the REALTOR® of the Year, his/her name cannot be submitted at a future time. The current local association president cannot be named as REALTOR® of the Year. Nominations come from all REALTORS® of the Association and self-nominations are encouraged. Refer to the application for more information. (Brokers, Managers and Team Leaders are eligible).
GOOD NEIGHBOR AWARD (FKA REALTORS COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD)

The Local Good Neighbor Award is bestowed upon the REALTOR® who gives unselfishly of their time to assist the communities in which they live. ALL nominations will be submitted to the State Level. The local recipient is expected to attend the Maryland REALTORS® ceremony where the award winner will be announced. ONE (1) COLOR PHOTO (any size or digital) must accompany the entry form to be used for promotional purposes. (Brokers and Managers are eligible). Nominations come from all REALTORS® of the Association and self-nominations are encouraged.
PRESIDENT’S AWARD
The President’s Award is bestowed upon the member selected by the current President, who has continually and actively supported the Association in its activities and programs. It is a Local award only.
LIFE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

The Life Achievement Award is bestowed upon the REALTOR® member in the Local Association who has demonstrated extraordinary and outstanding leadership, and exemplifies the model member through real estate service to the community, and the Local, State and National Associations during the many years of their career. Nominees must be active in the real estate industry and have a minimum of 25 years of active service in the local association. ONE (1) COLOR PHOTO (any size or digital) must accompany the entry form to be used for promotional purposes. The recipient is sponsored by Harford County Association of REALTORS® and expected to attend the Maryland REALTORS® ceremony where the winner will be announced. Nominations come from all REALTORS® of the Association and self-nominations are encouraged. Past recipients are not eligible for this award.
AFFILIATE OF THE YEAR

The Affiliate of the Year Award is bestowed upon the non-REALTOR® or Affiliate Member who has served the Local Association, sponsored Association programs and events, provided community services, achieved business accomplishments, obtained education and professional recognition, shows a fair business practice and affiliate spirit. The Affiliate of the Year is a Local Award only. ONE (1) COLOR PHOTO (any size or digital) must accompany the entry form to be used for promotional purposes. Nominations come from all members of the Association and self-nominations are encouraged.
REmarkable REALTOR® of the Year
The REmarkable REALTOR® of the year award is bestowed upon the REALTOR® member who has provided REmarkable service and dedication to our local association during the past year. The recipient(s) will be selected by the Awards Committee.
DEI LEADERSHIP AWARD

The DEI Leadership Award is bestowed upon the recipient who demonstrates sustaining commitment and raises awareness of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) issues. The DEI recipient is nominated to the state level and sponsored by the Harford County Association of REALTORS® to attend the Maryland REALTORS® ceremony where the award winner will be announced. ONE (1) COLOR PHOTO (any size or digital) must accompany ALL entry forms to be used for promotional purposes.
All HCAR nominees are expected to attend the Annual Harford County Association of REALTORS® Awards Celebration.
